Job Title: Operations Planning Manager

Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (approximately)

Summary: Plans, directs and coordinates activities concerned with the planning and scheduling of production and the management of the supply chain utilizing our Production Planning and Inventory Control systems.

 

  1. Champions safety by proactively preventing unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
  2. Ensures the ongoing functionality of the MRP and computer systems to generate accurate material requirements, production and inventory status reports, as well as the other information necessary to plan production and manage inventory.
  3. Oversees the scheduling of media production and fabrication work cells in a manner that consistently meets customer demand while taking into account a warehousing plan and enables continuous improvement of material, labor and line efficiencies.
  4. Ensures raw material availability so that products can be manufactured to specifications and at required efficiency levels while avoiding downtime and expediting charges.
  5. Supervises the Warehouse Manager and ensures the existence of a dynamic inventory and warehousing plan that results in the orderly storage of appropriate quantities of materials, media and fabricated items, that provides for minimal inventory movement, safe storage, and maximizes the utilization of available space.
  6. Supervises the Shipping Manager and ensures that orders are pulled and shipped from the warehouse in a timely, quality and cost-effective manner.
  7. Fosters teamwork and works effectively with all departments to continually improve specified standards in order to continually improve product quality as compared to competitive products and enabling increased efficiencies
  8. Plans, directs and coordinates the year-end physical inventory to ensure accurate counts and        valuation with minimal production downtime.
  9.        9.    Advocates housekeeping efforts in a manner that enhances safety and operating efficiencies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; plus a minimum of 5years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common trade and technical journals, and financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, suppliers, managers, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Position requires good negotiations skills. Also ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Job Title: Wind-up
Hours: 1st Shift – Mon 4:45am-3:15pm, Tues, Wed & Thurs 4:30 am-3pm
2nd Shift – Mon through Thurs 3pm- 1:30 am

Start rate $12.00
Both Shifts Needed

Summary: Responsible for properly inspecting, packaging and labeling all material produced on Curlator production lines.
Fast pace environment.
Employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle up to 100+ pounds.


Department: Fabrication
Job Title: Industrial Sewing Fabricator
Hours: 1st Shift – Mon through Thurs 4:00am – 2:30pm
2nd Shift – Mon through Thurs 2:30pm – 1:00am

Start rate $11.50 & $12.00
Both Shifts Needed

Summary: Assembles and fabricates nonwoven media into quality products, meeting specific standards, using various equipment and procedures.
Employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Title: Assembly
Hours: 1st Shift – Mon through Thurs 4:00am – 2:30pm
2nd Shift – Mon through Thurs 2:30pm – 1:00am

Start rate $11.50 & $12.00
Both Shifts Needed
