EPA Method 319

Facilities in some industries are required to meet the standards set in EPA Method 319, “Determination of Filtration Efficiency for Paint Over-spray Arrestors”.

Independent tests show:
  • EP GxG filters exceed the EPA 319 requirements as well as meet all aerospace NESHAP filtration efficiency requirements for a 2-stage system for existing facilities.
  • UltraStop® filters exceed the EPA 319 requirements as well as meet all aerospace NESHAP filtration efficiency requirements for a 3-stage system for new facilities.
  • UltraStop® filters exceed 99.95% efficiency on chromate containing paint and pass efficiency requirements for hexavalent chromium emissions in all 50 states, including California AB2588.
