Run-Off When Media Loads Prematurely

Stop wasting money now!   Don’t tolerate problems any longer.

Problem: Some media have fibers too close together (too dense) on the upstream side. This allows over-spray to “bridge” across fibers on the surface of the media, quickly seal up the surface of the media, and keep over-spray from penetrating into the media.

There is run-off before the over-spray works its way into the media. Media is replaced prematurely. Valuable time and labor is wasted cleaning up.

The right media performance leads to increased profitability.

Solution: The right media have fibers farther apart (less dense) on the upstream side and closer together (more dense) on the downstream side. This allows large quantities of over-spray to work its way into the collection media before being stopped and held in place.

Correctly constructed media are more efficient, last longer, and avoid the mess and expense of premature run-off.

Fiber Bond Corporation manufactures several over-spray collection media which are less dense upstream and more dense downstream.

EP Green and EP White are two examples.

EP Red is designed for even more demanding applications. In addition to differences in density, EP Red has very large diameter fibers upstream and very small diameter fibers downstream - different by a factor of 20 to 1.

Solving problems since 1952.
